I hope you found a little collage inspiration of your own on Friday!
Instead of collaging this week, I partied it up. (It’s good to dress up and get out once in a while!)
I enjoyed being a part of the For Artsake Gallery birthday celebration in Newport, Oregon, on Friday - 17 Years in Business!
I followed that up with a night out in Salem on Saturday, attending an amazing concert by Pink Martini, who was celebrating 30 years!
Now resting up today, I feel re-inspired, re-charged, and almost ready to jump back into my daily studio life. I may need to enjoy some more knitting today (I’m loving making socks right now) and then do a little clean-up first. I left my studio table in this state, untouched since Thursday, except for the daily drawings I’ve been making since April 1. (I usually try to at least keep the white desk mat cleared, but oh well. There’s always next week.)
Even though I’m mentally ready to jump back into collage this week, I do have some travel and art show conflicts coming up this month. My hope is to pre-schedule some posts starting April 25, but these things don’t always happen when I want them to. If you don’t hear from me for the next month or so, don’t fret. I’ll bring back some pictures to share and get back to collaging soon!
Cheers,
Jennifer
